Healthy Foods That Taste Even Better Than French Fries!

 

We get it, who doesn’t love french fries. Now you have some healthy foods healthy to get your salty and savory fix!

Give these Parmesan Garlic Asparagus Fries a try! They just might replace your love for french fries and if you need more healthy recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Medium asparagus
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder

Directions:

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Prepare the asparagus by resigning it well and trimming off the tough stem.
  2. 2. Set up breading station by whipping the egg whites in one shallow bowl, and mixing the parmesan cheese and garlic powder together in the other.
  3. 3. Dip each asparagus spear in the egg wash and then coat evenly in parmesan. Place the spears over a wire rack over a baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
  4. 4. bake until golden and crispy, 17-20 minutes. Broil for 1-2 minutes after cooking if you desire a more crispy coating. Serve immediately with dipping sauce of choice!
